YUM!!!!

The Yum Yum Cupcake Truck. We found this on the grounds of the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex down in Disney World. Our oldest was complaining about how cold it was, how we dragged her all over to watch her younger sister play soccer, how we didn't care about her...blah blah blah.

And then we walked around the corner and saw it, just parked on the sidewalk in all it's cupcake food truck glory. The complaining stopped and cupcakes were bought, and at $2.50 a piece they were probably the best deal we found during 5 days down there.

The paper is Basic Grey with Gesso in the center. Some machine stitching around the edges.

Me and My Shadow

Layout featured in February issue of Scrapbook News and Review.
All the color on the page is from Faber Castell Gelatos. I made a blue mist and sprayed it through the Harlequin Crafter's Workshop stencil. The with a pink mist added random sprays and splatters.
Using purple I colored directly on the paper and using a wet paintbrush created my frame. The flourishes were created by coloring directly on an Inkadinkadoo stamp with a black Gelato, spritzing with water and stamping.
The title is made using RubOn letters and a Prima flower is the only other embellishment.

Thanks for stoping by and have a great day.

                                                                 Slaying of the Dragon
My kids are usually really good sports about having their pictures taken all the time. However once in a while they've had enough. They don't outright refuse but they will start posing in strange positions and faces.
This was a Christmas shoot. We had just got the tree up and decorated. I was trying to get as many pics as possible when it was finally enough. The little one brought out the broom and her big sis improvised. Hence the slaying of the dragon (too bad you can't hear the dragon noises in the picture lol).

                                                                     Radio Tower
When traveling through Germany there are these Radio Towers all over the place. Something in the ground interfers with radio signals so these towers were built. The higher up the better the signal. Most we saw were mid height but the night we arrived in Dusseldorf we saw this tall one. Even better you were able to take an elevator to the top and look out on the surrounding city. The view was amazing.

I am hosting one of the Swirly Girl Challenges this month at Swirlydoos. My challenge is to use for or more pictures on one layout. Extra bonuses for sewing and memorabilia usage. All supplies used are from a past Swirlydoos kit.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
