Art journal page that was gessoed first. The page was the misted with rubbing alcohol and then alcohol inks dripped all over.

Used a paint pen to add stars. Some Rub ons and Tape.

There was no immediate direction when I started this page and several times I just wanted to toss it, yet the more I woke the happier it made me.

Me and You. Oldest & youngest shadows.

Layout was done for Swirlydoos Round Robin relay.

Paper is from Websters & GCD. The flowers are Creative Imaginations chipboard covered with distress stains and then 2 colors of Lindy's Stamp Gang magical micas. Finally stamped with Prima stamp using Staz On.

Smiling is Infectious

My middle one posing in the garden of one of Germany's many castles.

The background is a piece of Kaisercraft paper covered with Gesso. Using a large Donna Downey foam stamp and acrylic paint the flowers were stamped along the bottom.

A Pink Paislee stamp and Staz On ink create the frame. The flowers were a Prima necklace that I cut apart and clustered.

Capturing the Everyday...

When I first started at Scrapbook News and Review I was introduced to scrapping a 6x12 page. I had never seen these before but they have quickly become a favorite size of mine to work with. A bit different, but oh so much fun.

Paper here is Prima. Heidi Swapp butterfly mask and distress ink. The Title Rub on is from Daisy D.

Pumpkin Picking

In the fall the youngest went pumpkin picking with her German school. We rode a tractor through fields until we came upon the perfect patch. Trampling through the fields while I worried about snakes and rodents she searched high and low until finding just right one.

All paper is BoBunny. Prima flowers and bling.

Long Distance Call

The littlest one phoning home all the way from Germany.

While riding the train from Dusseldorf to Koln we did a little catch up with the family back home.

Long distance calling at it's best.

The patterned papers are from We R Memory Keepers and Best Creation. Bazzill is the base card stock and an actual train ticket from the ride is used as an embellishment. The letters are foam thickers from American Crafts.

All the patterned paper is from Basic Grey. They all all torn into random pieces and then layered. The Letters are American Crafts colored with Pan Pastels.

A Prima flourish and Petaloo flower finish off the page.
