Count Your Blessings

A little over 2 years ago my Dad was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. In the following months he fought some major and life threatening infections. It eventually led to the lose of his lower leg. Through it all though he kept up beat about it. Always joking and laughing no matter how bleak it seemed.

Now he is up and mobile even back at work. Determined that nothing is going to slow him down.
My background paper is BoBunny. Gesso was dry brushed under the photo as a matte. The paper was also misted with Gingersnap Smooch Spritz. The numbers are created rubbing Branch Bark ink by Prima through a Crafter's Workshop stencil. Prima flowers and pearls finish it off, along with the reminder to Count Your Blessings.

This layout was featured in Scrapbook News and Review.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
