So my middle daughter came home with this journal. A professor at App State in NC created a project called 100 Visual Art journals for NC. The idea was to send out a journal to each of the 100 counties in NC, have the residents of the county fill it with art and create a representation of our State through art.

Maya was super excited to be part of this and of course I jumped in too. This journal is from Union County. 2 page spread with vintage text covered by layers of acrylic paint and gel medium. The large splots are India Ink dripped and blown. Now I have to pass this on. What fun working in it.
