Hey everyone,
It's time for another challenge at
Challenge 11
Tag, You're It!
Use a tag on your project. Create a handmade gift tag. Create a tag mini album. Add tags to your scrapbook layout or your card. You may use some hoarded tag-shaped packaging or you may cut tags from scrap paper using a die cut template. Maybe you hoard shipping tags of all sizes. As long as your project contains some sort of tag, you will meet the requirements to play along!
This is the tag I created for the challenge.
Colored Yupo paper over a stamped tag.
My background was created by scribbling all over
a piece of Yupo paper with Spectrum Noir markers.
I then dripped Alcohol Ink Blending Solution
onto to create drips and pools of awesome color.
The butterfly is a collage image from Crafty Secrets.
The chipboard was also colored with the Spectrum Noir markers
then a Q-tip dipped in blending solution was touched here and there giving a mottled look to it.
My flowers were made by coloring on an old dictionary page with the
Spectrum Noir markers.
The paper absorbed a lot of the ink leaving subtle color.
I stamped the flowers, fussy cut them and covered with a thin layer of glitter glue for sparkle.
Supplies:
Spectrum Noir markers
Alcohol Ink Blending Solution
Yupo Paper
Crafty Secrets collage image
Book text
Chipboard
Glitter glue

ReplyDeleteWhat is yupo paper?
ReplyDeleteYupo is a synthetic paper.

I love using it with watercolors or alcohol inks because of how the color flows over it. If you mess up at least with watercolors you wipe the paper and start over.
