Hula Hoop
The little one is always in motion. I caught her in the backyard one early Spring day trying to Hula Hoop like her big sisters. I love her braid flying out behind her as she spins.
Basic Grey rub ons and Recollections flowers.
As seen in the February issue of Scrapbook News and Review.

Art is another way...
Another art journal page for a friend.I started with a sheet of watercolor paper and randomly added some foreign book text in spots using gel medium. Then a thin layer of Neutral Grey acrylic paint was added over the entire page.
Once dry 2 scripts stamps were used with Stone Grey StazOn. A small script from Recollections and a large one from Clearsnap.
My new "She Art" stencil was then used with Naples Yellow Hue acrylic paint along the left and lower portion of the page. The border stencil is from Dylusions and a Faber Castell Big Brush Pitt Pen. The diamonds are made using the same Dylusions stencil and Brillant Yellow Green acrylic paint.
Once the whole page dried I used a Crafters Workshop stencil and Sharpie marker to add the art quote.
Thanks for looking and have a great day

Destination
A 2 page spread in my friend's Art Journal.
She has a theme of places. After thinking a while I began adding images of places we have been recently. I used a mixture of Lazertran transfers and Packing Tape transfers to get the images on the pages.
Lots of paint and stamping went over everything. The quote was written on pieces of Washi tape to make it stand out from the background.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Keep your eyes on the ball!!!!
We went to a minor league Hockey game the other night. Out in the lobby was a table where these 2 people were sitting. Everyone kept walking by them and not saying I word. I realized they were the Harlem Globetrotters. I sent middle dd over to talk to them (after much eye rolling and mommmmm on her part).
One of the guys got up and gave the girls an impromptu ball spinning lesson. As soon as other realized who they were the crowd grew, but the girls were the first.
The layout was created for one of the April challenges over at PAO. I took a piece of white card stock, sprayed it with 2 colors of Starburst Sprays from Lindy's Stamp Gang, and then stamped with a noise stamp from Club Scrap using StazOn ink in Stone Grey.
The letters are various rub ons.
Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Spring Stimulus Swap
Over at Art42 there is a swap periodically called the Spring Stimulus Swap ( or Winter or Fall, just depends on the season lol)
Anyway what you do is mail off an envelope filled with scraps and images and such. In return you get an envelope from another swapper. Using the supplies in the envelope you create an ATC, Tag or card for the person who sent it to you. I love participating in this swap. It's quick. You never know what you'll get and it's fun limiting your supplies.
I received my envelope the other day from Sharon V.
Look at all the goodies in it. I didn't need to send my finished piece(s) back until the end of April but once I started I need to finish. I wound up turning out not one or 2 pieces but 4. I added 2 Rub ons, a card base and ink from my stash but that was it.
here I made a card
an ATC
and a Tag
There is one more tag but since that will be in the May issue of Scrapbook News and Review you'll have to wait to see it. :)
