Courage

It's not often that I get pics of my niece and nephew to scrap. This one is from a few years back and I had been holding on until just the right inspiration struck.

The background is done using Pan Pastels and a Crafter's Workshop stencil. I love that you can blend over on the Pan Pastels and they never get muddy.

Keeping it simple I sprayed some book text with Glimmer Mist and then tore into strips for a photo matte.
Little Prima flowers sprayed with Glimmer Mist and a bunch of Prima flourishes to add some bling.

Finished it off with a stamp from Oxford Impressions.
This layout was featured in Scrapbook News and Review Aug issue.
As always---Have a great day!

Great techniques to the page, Christy! At first, I thought the text strips were tissue ribbons...love the contrast of it. TFS :)
