It's time for another challenge at
(can you believe we have already had 18 challenges? How awesome!)
One good way to use your hoard is to use lots of it all at once!
So, let's see those layers! We need to see at least THREE layers on your project! (Ink, paint, embossing, and mixed media products do count as layers!) Drag out all of that hoarded paper or those embossing folders that are in the back of the drawer. Use those stamps, dies, and punches! Show us the layers!
This is my piece.
It has 9 or 10 layers on it (I lost count lol).
Combining an awesome image from past sponsor
with our 2 sponsors this challenge
along with a bunch of stuff from my hoard I was able to layer away.
Paper: Echo Park, Stampington
Black Gesso: Golden
Embossing Powder & Mist: Lindy's Stamp Gang
Fabric: Canvas Corp
Collage Image: Polly's Paper Studio
Embossing Folder: Sizzix
Other: ribbon, sticker, flowers, doily
The clocks were created by running a sheet of Dazzle metal through a Sizzix embossing folder then fussy cutting them out.
More of my clocks. The metal worked perfectly with the embossing folder.
Some of the fabric, metal, paper and mists layers.
We have 2 sponsors for this challenge:
Make sure to stop by the other Design Team members blogs and see how they have layered it!
Craft Hoarders Anonymous
and link up your layered piece for a chance to win some prizes.
You have 2 weeks!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
So many pretty layers...love all the time pieces!
Very cool and spooktacular! That's a great way to use layers, for sure.
I love all the repeated clocks, Christy! Super layers and wonderful details!
